Meet at 10:00 AM, wheels down the road at SHARP. If you come earlier, homemade rolls will be available.
The address is 425 Monroe Street, Willow Lake, SD 57278. Willow Lake is north of Yankton about 140 miles. From Yankton, go north on US-81 go 79 miles, turn left onto SD-34 go 8 miles, turn right onto SD-25 go 43 miles, turn left onto SD-28 go 4.1 miles and their house is the first house south of the drive-inn. Green 1 1/2 story, cranberry shutters, and a large handicap ramp on the front.
We may do a repeat of last year’s “tour de lakes,” where we visited 4 different lakes. Looks to be around 80-100 miles with a stop in Bryant for fuel (both our rigs and our bodies). Lunch will be mid-afternoon at Ward’s Bar & Grill. Then a little more riding and possibly a stop at the Vienna Bar.
Supper on Saturday night will be at the Rusty Nail in Willow Lake.
Breakfast on Sunday will be served at the house.
There will be socializing around a bonfire both nights.
You may want to make your reservations early since the hotel only has 8 rooms: Hometown Hotel 605-625-5226.
The cabin has 1 king bedroom and a second story with 5 twin beds (all one big room) available. Also, there is 5 camper hookups on the house, 30 amp, electricity only. There is water to fill but the dump is by the football field in town. There is also a lot of shaded, grassy area for tents.
Ride details TBA.
